I keep meaning to watch this show so it's that good, eh?

It's supremely well done but the genre and the themes appeal to me, so I'm biased.

This is where I'm at with it. Started last night and I'm about to finish episode 4. The entire subject of a technological singularity is fascinating to me.

I can't decide if I'm going to burn through the first 6 tonight or pace it out until tomorrow.

I love this show. The subject matter is really interesting and it is really well done.

I would totally unlock the 18+ options on Anita.

Her character is this embodied

ETA: After finishing episode 6, I've decided the investigator's wife is AMC's new Skyler/Betty Draper. Yup. Miserable bitch.

I remember once thinking "if they ever invent a lifelike sex robot and a way to grow children, women are fricking finished." We just wouldn't put up with them.

But after watching the scene between Joe and Anita I felt like I needed a shower. It just felt so wrong...gross even. Like sexual assault almost.

But yeah, Niska is the bomb.com. Problem is Elster made her too much like a real woman because that's one crazy bitch (won't reveal spoiler for what may have influenced some of her feelings toward men).

Already fathered and raised my kids. Already ditched the wife. Keep the dog for company, and will take the robot for all of those wifely duties. shite, she can even cut the grass, mechanic when needed, and make house repairs in addition to cleaning, cooking, and fricking. When do they go on sale?

Really digging this show. It has the human vs robot big picture conflict and then all the direct character to character conflicts along with the detectives and fugative conflict as well!

Really well layered.

SPOILERS

Crazy how Joe's son took the fall for him just for Joe to tell his wife he boned Anita.

What is going on with Karen being a Synth? Is she one of the extra super robots that the Dr. invented? Basically saying there are more or is she just one looking for the others?

I love this show. It think it is my favorite show that is currently airing. Last night's episode was the best one yet. I really like getting the backstory.

I just finished watching Seasons 1 & 2 (yeah I know a little late). The episodes seem to fly by quickly. It's a good watch but the ending seemed a little forced.

It will be exciting to see where they go with this.

And Mia, damn....(Gemma Chan)

3rd season on AMC this year.

I'm in the middle of season 2 and it's definitely an under the radar show that shouldn't be. Really high production value that tackles some interesting issues. Seasons 1 and 2 are on Amazon Prime and while I wouldn't say it's quite as good as West World, it does a very good job of building a story around the potential problems that arise when our robot slaves start getting too smart for our own good.
