How does the show Drugs Inc still exist?

Watching some old DVR'd ones and it's clear they have completely run out of ideas. Nat Geo really can't find anything more informative than this? I've watched the latest three and made it about ten minutes into each episode. I honestly think it's just producers wearing masks pretending to be drug dealers and making up random stories.

What have the stories been about lately? I watch the S1 & S2. But stopped abruptly.

I often wonder how shows like ghost hunters made it past 1 season.
They don't even have proton packs.

The latest I'm watching out of boredom is about how cartels use cruise ships to transport drugs because Florida borders are too protected.....
Nat Geo lost all credit for me when one the head "gang bangers" in a document about south central gangs reappeared as a small time street racer in a totally separate documentary a year later. Can't even switch up actors?
