This is where I am with it. Her primary audience is little girls

This is not true at all. While there were little girls at her concert, the audience was mainly 25-40 year old women and a bunch of gay men. She by no means currently markets herself to preteen girls. As far as teen girls go, these songs are extremely tame compared to most of the stuff they are probably listening to and also the language they hear every single day at school.

Her Midnights album is much more adult. She was 32 when she released it. Additionally, although she has some suggestive lyrics, it's a whole lot better than WAP, and a whole lot of other artists they are listening to.

Toby Keith God bless his soul is a better talent than Taylor Swift.

He helped her career get started in Swift's former label Big Machine Records.

Don't know why these three bands are being attacked here. All three are better than Taylor Swift.

That's honestly not true. A lot of her music comes right out and says she is the problem. Hell, that was the theme of Anti-Hero.

She isn't the greatest ever, but her lyrics can get pretty deep. She is a great writer, she definitely doesn't lip sync at her concerts, and honestly... not many artists out there would play for 3 plus hours straight featuring dancing, musical instrument playing (guitar and piano), and constantly walking around so people on all sides of the stadium can see her... it's gotta be a huge workout. Hell, I was watching a clip where the lead singer of disturbed told him fans don't boo Taylor Swift because she was fricking awesome and actually sings and plays musical instruments instead of dancing to auto tune sound boards and shite.

Hold the phone campers! I think we need to unpack this statement!

My wife is watching but he is doing the counting…

So what you meant to say is “Hey y’all. I’m a huge Swiftie and me and my honeybun were curled up on the couch watching us some Eras, I have counted 5 f’bombs so far. More to follow.”

When you look at her whole catalog of music, it’s a lot of coming of age music as she’s been writing since she has been a teen and is now in her 30s. While some of her more mainstream songs have ended up being about her breakups, she has a lot of songs that are not.

Her range of writing is about what I would expect from her life experience. She writes about relationships, friendships, her debacle over her music rights, just growing up in general.

I really have come to like her folklore album, partially the acoustic version that she recorded in the long pond sessions.

And while I’m not comparing her quality by any means, breakups have fueled some great music in history. Fleetwood Mac had a whole damn album go double platinum over it.

Not really.

My wife turned it on, I was in our kitchen and hear "frick the patriarchy" multiple times which raised my ears because it's Taylor Swift.

That's totally untrue. It's said one time in one song.

Adult Swifties are like the adults who go to Disneyworld 6 times a year. Bizarre to say the least.

How’s it any different than a grown man that spends $100+ on a player jersey, thousands of dollars on season tickets to their favorite collegiate sport, and won’t even attend family functions if they fall on a day their team is playing*

*I realize I’m guilty of this as well.

Not sure which is worse: being a cuckhold Swiftie or being such a big pussy that you not only noticed an Fbomb but counted them?
