Tara Strong, Laura Bailey, and Ali Hillis are quality additions to this thread.

Jennifer Hale and Debi Mae West haven't aged well, but their voices are awesome.

Judy Greer isn't primarily a voice actor though.

Most people have no idea what Tara Strong looks like, but as soon as they say that she plays Harley Quinn everyone knows who she is.

Just like few people know what Jennifer Hale looks like, but as soon as you say "Commander Shepard", "Samus", "Killer Frost", or "Naomi Hunter", they know who she is.

Claudia Black does a lot of voice acting. She's got that raspy rich Aussie sound.

Here's a vid showing a bunch of her voice overs. Lots of video games.

She's best known for Farscape and Pitch Black.

No, Jennifer Hale the VA has dark brown hair and a slight butterface.

Tara Strong is a good one. She will be Barbara Gordon in upcoming Killing Joke movie.

I find Ashly Burch hot. She voiced Tiny Tina in Borderlands 2 and Mayuri in Steins;Gate, among others.

I think she might be a lesbian though.

When we're talking "Voice Artists", we're looking for actors who are known best for playing iconic voices.

Tara Strong, Jennifer Hale, and Frank Welker are in a category all by themselves because you don't recognize them as a character, you recognize the character as them Also all three are just as adept playing children and animal sounds as they are with adult voices.

Steve Blum is just a step below them

Peter Cullen is the ONLY Optimus Prime

Kevin Conroy is best known as Batman

Susan Eisenberg is best known as Wonder Woman

Corey Burton is best known as Brainiac

David Hayter will always be Snake

Ali Hillis will always be Claire Fallon (Lightning)

Rob Clotworthy will always be Jim Raynor

Mark Hamill is one of the few VA that is also known for an iconic film role as well, being both the Joker and Luke Skywalker.

Claudia Black is best known as Aeryn Sun from Farscape, not for her VA work.

Ashley Burch is still a relative newcomer as the only role she's widely known for is Cassandra Cage from Mortal Kombat.

I don't disagree that Burch is a relative newcomer to the VA world, but unlike most other areas of entertainment, the number of "famous" VAs is relatively small.

It just isn't a big world.

Katey Sagal IS Leela. Does she count even though she is more known as an actress?

And I think Burch's role as Tiny Tina is her more defining one.

Where do you rank Susan Eisenberg? Her voice is what I consider to be Wonder Woman.

Katey Sagal is Leela, but she's better known for her roles in Sons of Anarchy and Married with Children.

Billy West on the other hand, since we're talking about Futurama, is better known as Stimpy, Fry, and the old dude (forgot his name)

Exactly. It is hard to differentiate between the two areas. There aren't many Tara Strongs or Jennifer Hales out there.

Susan Eisenberg is a good one, but her pictures are VERY hit or miss.
