They are currently making an adaptation of Stephen King's Dark Tower using Idris Elba as the "white man with piercing blue eyes" and the only confirmed female lead is a white woman assigned to play the role of Tiana, a character that doesn't exist in the book.

Honesty Hollywood peaked in the 50s. Great Christian values without any of the mess.
