I came across this show and thought to myself , how can people live like that? This is the most disgusting living conditions that I have ever seen. I believe that there is no such thing as hoarding , these people are just dirty , lazy and filthy . It is shocking seeing how anyone can survive living under these conditions

These kind of people are about as rare as it gets and are in no way the norm. I think they have a mental disorder to be ok with living like that. I wonder if these people ever wonder if they're putting their neighbors in danger with their hoarding, depending on how extreme their situation is.
I also think A & E really goes out of their way to find these freak shows and put them on TV.
