Help me understand The Departed(Obvious Spoilers)

Watched this beast again for the 3rd time and I still feel like I'm missing it...
Leo is obviously the mob rat. Damon the police rat.
Jack is the FBI rat right?
So Damon finds out Jack is an FBI informer and kills him for fear of being exposed. Leo then finds out Damon is the police rat and we have our elevator scene. The guy who shoots Leo tells Damon they have to stick together. So I am assuming he was also with the mob.
Damon kills that guy as he does not wish to be on the run and would like to maintain his position on the force. As it seems that Damon has covered all the loose ends we are reminded that his baby momma has evidence against him given to her from Leo.
Enter Marky Mark. Who the frick is Marky Mark? It is where I think I get lost. On the roof top as Leo is arresting Damon he says he called Marky Mark for back up yet he he is not there......why? I once again assume that once Leo died, baby mama gave the evidence to Marky Mark and he then out of vengeance kills Damon at the end.....or is Marky Mark just another rat for someone who is cleaning up the mess?

Walberg was part of the undercover team and one of two people that knew Leo was undercover. The other one, Martin sheen, was killed earlier. So he needed walberg to back him up for the arrest
Walberg took revenge on Damon at the end for killing Leo

You misunderstood. He called Anthony Anderson's character. No one knows where Mark was.

Leo said that he told Anthony Anderson to bring Marky Mark. It was never explained whether AA simply couldn't find MM or just said "frick it" or whatever.

Ok the clears up the confusion. The fact I thought he was supposed to be here but wasn't had me confused as to if he really was just an angry cop or something more. Thanks.

Marky Mark showed beef towards Damon a few times through the movie. He knew he was dirty and after Sheen and Leo died he knew he was involved and put him down.

I always kind of assumed Leo had sent Marky Mark copies of the recordings like he did with Damon.

Leo sent Wahlberg the info to show Damon was dirty. Wahlberg, despite being a dick, was one if the few actually reliable cops. He took Damon out out of revenge for Leo and Sheen, but also because frick him for being a rat frick.

Marky mark is one of the cops in charge of the undercover unit. His partner was Martin Sheen who was thrown off of the roof. Some way or another he finds out that Damon was the rat. He gets his vengeance for his partner getting thrown off of the roof or Dicaprio. Either way it doesn't really matter. It's just wrapping it up that all the rats get what's coming to them in the end.

I always felt it was more for Sheen than for Leo. Not that he hated Leo, but as much as a dick as he seemed to be, he was extremely loyal, especially to his partner.

Dignam was on leave when Leo called Anthony Anderson right? That's why he couldn't find him/get ahold of him.
And WTF does it matter if it was for Sheen or Leo? It was both of them.
