I hated how they ended Nick and Munns character though. I get they cant stay together but it was so "oh yeah btw" that it sucked.

This bothers me about the entire show. I know it's a short sitcom type of show, so there's not a lot of in-depth drama.. but every character's relationships are too short-lived for the show.. especially Jess's.

Maybe i'm just used to watching HBO shows and Breaking Bad but it seems like New Girl seasons come and go fast as shite. Coulda sworn the last season ended a month or two ago.

IDK.. 25 episodes in Season 2. That's way more than there were per season when I recall watching Mad Man (though I may be wrong).

BUT. if you're binge watching, New Girl is 30 minute episodes. Which is going to piss me off when I start watching on TV. I am used to watching at least 5 episodes at a time.

How long before she's not new any more?

kind of like Dippin' Dots being the "Ice Cream of the Future" - I saw that back in 1987, surely it is the damn future by now.

Some of you guys that just watch hbo shows are hilarious with your "OMG, theres 24 episodes this season?" Thats been the standard for at least 30 years. Remember, 24 half hour shows= 12-1 hour shows. Now something like the show 24 with its 24-1 hour seasons, thats a lot

I always felt with new girl that it started shitty, like they didn't know what to do with the show. Once it hit its stride, the cast has great chemistry and the characters work really well together to make a hilarious show

yea definitely one of those shows that outran its premise quickly, but it seems to be unaffected by it. I watched the first few when it premiered and just couldn't get over how ambiguously gay that one guy is, yet he's supposed to be a ladies man?
