One of the best filmed episodes, of any, so far. What an emotional moment

With Bohannon fighting so hard to save her, trying to persuade her to reject her guilty plea, it's interesting. Was he in love with her, or did he just not want to see another person close to him die? Maybe both

I think it's both. He still owes the Swede for killing Lilly Belle. I can't wait for that showdown. I wonder what, if anything, the two Irishmen are going to do with Campbell.

I thought that was one of the best episodes so far in the series. Was that the season finale?

Show's fiddin' to get gud! Bohannon v. The Swede! Bring it on! That was cold what he said to Mother Hatch. What's going to happen with Mickey's psychotic cousin?

Lilly Belle.

Why why why did they have to kill her off? Her character was kind of annoying but good grief she was hot.

The season finale was interesting but kinda strange and disjointed. Was simply them moving chess pieces into place for season 5. No real bombshells, I kinda figured that he would end up working for both railroads.

I agree with your assessment. Do you think he finds his family?

Yeah, but the Swede finds them first.

I doubt they do anything. Campbell is a historic figure and was governor of Wyoming Territory until 1875 (fun fact, he signed the law giving women the right to vote, the first such law in the US).

I think we see a lot of the riff raff leave Cheyenne/Hell on Wheels and head west to California and possibly set up a version of Hell on Wheels on the Central Pacific. Since the CP is coming out of California into Nevada territory, I wonder if Mickey's group will be the founders of Nevada's legalized casino and prostitution industries.

Really enjoyed Dylan's I Shall Be Released for the final scene. Bohannon seemed (to me) somewhat at peace looking forward to what the future holds for him (and his family?).

So is it the general feeling Mickey & his crew, male & female, are not leaving the show & will just set up shop down the line somewhere? Hate to lose the only female with boobs.

I fully expect them to be around. Wouldn't be surprised to Mickey die next season though. I like the theory that they set up gambling and prostitution in Nevada.

Speaking of the only female with boobs, I thought she looked the best she has looked at the end of that episode.
