Heels showrunner says they're 'actively' seeking a new home for the wrestling drama
The show runner is Mike O'Malley. If you don’t know who he is, shame on you.
quote:

O'Malley says he and his team are "actively" shopping the show around to other networks. "I really do think it's going to have a life someplace else," says O'Malley, who also appears on the show as Charlie Gully, the flamboyant promoter of the rival Florida Wrestling Dystopia league. "We did not intend, nor do we intend, for [the season 2 finale] to be the last episode of the show."

Hell yeah, hope they find somewhere. Great show, can't end like it did.

I hope Netflix or someone picks it up. Give us at least one more season.

I think Peacock would be the perfect place since it has wrestling already

Bump

Netflix has picked up the streaming rights to the first 2 seasons and:

quote:

Deadline has learned there is an option for a third season, but that all depends on the availability of stars Stephen Amell, who booked the lead role in the Suits spinoff, and Alexander Ludwig, who’s toplining Earth Abides for MGM+. A spokesman for Lionsgate declined to comment

First season was very good, Second season was garbage. This is what happens when you pull the crap they pulled in S2.
