The comedic ensemble and dialog in Veep is vastly superior. The Brink has grown stale as the season progressed. The two pilots are the funniest part.

But the entire show is being carried by Tim Robbins who is outstanding in this part. His interactions with everyone is hilarious especially with his wife and Pierce and the way he treats other dictators.

Eh, weakest comedic aspect of the show to me.
Tim Robbins is good, but his bit grows stale too. Again, I enjoy the show, but don't find it to be great, much less "excellent".

Disagree. I feel like it's been strong at the beginning, started to grow stale but has picked up towards the end. I also love Veep and Silicon Valley and I'd rank the Brink up there with them. Ranking them would just be splitting hairs for me.
