In Reservoir Dogs, Joe Cabot mentions "Alabama" as Mr. White's partner. He reveals he hasn't worked with her in a year and a half. This is supposed to be the same Alabama Whitman-Worley from True Romance, because in the original True Romance script, Clarence should be dead, leaving Bama to go on to work with Mr. White.

I'm on my phone and can't really link. I read a long article based off of the Whalen logo and the terra forming. I mean, it's all just loose connections made by fan boys.

And there weren't any aliens in aliens until there were.

Would have been much more clear to say Vincent and Vic Vega

Here's a list of character connections from IMDB. I think that part of it is probably just that Tarantino likes to re-use names.

quote:

What Tarantino characters are related?

Vincent Vega (Pulp Fiction) and Victor Vega (Reservoir Dogs) are brothers.

Laurence Dimmick a.k.a. Mr. White (Reservoir Dogs) and Jimmy Dimmick (Pulp Fiction) may be related somehow.

Jack Scagnetti (Natural Born Killers) and Seymour Scagnetti (mentioned in Reservoir Dogs) could be related.

Drexl Spivey (True Romance) and Marsellus Spivey (mentioned in Reservoir Dogs) could be related.

Earl McGraw (From Kill Bill Vol. 1, Grindhouse) and Edgar McGraw (Kill Bill Vol. 1, Grindhouse) are father and son. It is also possible that Michael Parks' character is related to the McGraws because Earl McGraw and Ambrose Pierce were both played by the same actor.

Bill and Budd are brothers.

Sgt. Donny Donowitz (Inglourious Basterds) and Lee Donowitz (True Romance) might be father and son or Uncle and Nephew.

When Mr. White and Joe Cabot are talking in a flashback Joe Cabot mentions that Mr. White worked with a women called Alabama which could be Alabama Whitman (True Romance).

Note that some names of the characters somewhat correspond with the "career choice" of the other, an example being that Drexl is a pimp and Marsellus was a diamond fence who was doing 20 years in prison. Jack Scagnetti was a popular detective and Seymour was a parole officer, etc.

I remember reading an interview when Kill Bill came out saying that Tarantino and Thurman came up with a murdered bride story while on set shooting Pulp Fiction, so a connection between the two films doesn't surprise me.

I believe that scene is where Uma and Quentin actually started brainstorming the idea of Kill Bill

Big Kahuna Burger and Red Apple cigarettes appear in every Tarantino movie.

The piano player at the church in Kill Bill is actually Jules Winfield after he retired from being a hitman. He decided to "walk the earth" and settled in the same town The Bride did.

Just my theory.

Its been pretty well established that all of Tarantino's movies take place in the same universe.

Some are that universes reality, others are movies that would be made/shown in that universe.

Did you know that Firefly is in the Aliens universe, an therefore Predator and that last POS.

A Firefly class ship can be seen in the pilot of Battlestar Galactica as well, making that the same universe, too.

And that's where this silliness all falls to the ground.
Or was it when he thought Viveca Fox's character in Kill Bill was also a demolitions expert???

But the black girl was not a demolitions expert.

Otherwise, pretty accurate.

Kill Bill would be a movie that Vince and Jules would go see.

Pulp Fiction is violent so that's why Kill Bill is ultra-violent.

I've never made that connection. That's pretty cool. Didn't someone come up with a theory that all of Tarantino's movies exist in the same universe? The guy had some pretty convincing evidence if I remember correctly.

I think the way it works is that most of the films take place in a particular universe and some of the others are a fictional cinematic world inside of that.

I believe Cracked broke this down.

Was this before or after he traveled back in time to run a plantation in the a antebellum south?
