i first saw this movie as a random first date and hated it.. saw it at home and it's my favorite movie now. i know every line word for word.
their style of comedy is great.. like "i'm so high right now.." "we're not low"
or "i'll give you a hint.." "it's semen." "animal semen"

Are they making a 4th one? I wasn't a huge fan of the 3rd but I have only seen it once or twice.

The third was a drop off but the 3D gimmicks were pretty funny. It began to feel a little bit like the Friday sequels, though.

3rd was terrible.agreed. they did awesome to have such a legit sequel in the 2nd one that many prefer more over the first.

Interestingly enough, White Castle has a 74% on RT, Gitmo has a 53%, and A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas has a 68%. That seems crazy to me.

To this day I use this type of line every day...
Someone walks in and says "Man it's hot outside..."
Rather than saying yea it is, I say "It's not cold".
I do this with everything and it all stems from this movie.

A lot of people, myself included, didn't care as much for the second one on the first viewing. It gets better the more you watch it, though.

I guess I need to rewatch the second one. I love the first one and have watched it many times. I saw the second one the theaters, thought it wasn't that great, and never gave it another chance.

I remember renting the second one at blockbuster after it came out on video and hating it. A couple years later, I watched it on cable and it was pretty good. I watched it again a few months later and it was awesome. There are so many subtle gags, cameos, and references to the first movie that you see something new each time.
