That is what I wqs thinking after this weeks episode
Yeah, didn't the IBM guy say "your dad will be disappointed" when he turned down the plane ticket?
Also, what was the story of his scars?

I watched the first two episodes today.
Great show, especially if you're somewhat of a tech geek.
BTW, if you like this you should check out the movie Pirates of Silicon Valley

Um yeah didn't expect that. Try not to catch the AIDS now.

Really glad to see TD is watching this...I worked on this show and always come here to see what you guys say when it comes to things I work on. Made me nervous when I saw nothing on here the first two episodes. I can tell you yes week one ratings were low but it appears everyone understands mad men and breaking bad started that way. Week two ratings came up so that is good. (Pilot was also available for free on AMC's website so that gave cushion for the low rating). Hope everyone continues to like it.

I like it and I think the music selection for this show has been pretty good too. Sorta has a feeling of what Madmen could be like if it was based on a computer company in the 80s.

I'm enjoying it. Main character seems to be willing to do anything to win. He knew what it would take to get under the old money ladies skin...

I enjoyed the first two episodes, but the third episode has me teetering on the edge of dropping this show from my rotation.
The Cameron role fails to add anything to the show right now (although I'm sure that will change soon). Her walking around in a tight white t-shirt frustrated that she can't figure out the BIOS is getting old quickly.
The Joe role, I don't even know if I am interested in watching that character develop anymore than he did in the third episode.
Dude with the good looking wife at home, his character is interesting but damn he is a spineless guy. I only like his role since it means seeing the hot wife who, will likely be playing a bigger role in the future since she seems to be the brains behind the ideas.

Because of Game of Thrones I've never watched a show live, watch them on demand. So I think that since the NHL/NBA finals & GoTs ending, ratings should pick up. Seemed like an odd time to release a new show.
Just finished the third episode this morning, sister in law had to be at the airport for 4:15am. Pretty solid show.

I loved the third episode. Gordon's wife is my favorite character. I love that they made her a smart, attractive woman and stayed away from the disappointed housewife.
I also thought they really developed the main Texan guy in this episode too. Looking forward to the rest of the season now.

So Joe turned gay for a sec just to piss the money lady off? That didn't really make much sense to me. Other than that, pretty solid show. I'll keep watching.

Yeah I am getting kind of tired of shows tossing in the gay thing for no other reason that to be edgy I guess?
Happened in Penny Dreadful to.

yes. he knew that doing whatever he did with her boy toy would piss her off and she would then back out.

yeah i understand that, but surely there would be an easier way, rather than sucking a dick

I like the acting on the show and the music and how it looks, but the story is moving so slow. Watching someone struggle with a creative block just isn't the most interesting thing...
I would probably like the show better if it was about some ballsy Texas entrepreneur who was gambling with PCs taking off. I mean, Joe is kind of a sociopath who seized control of an established business and is putting a lot of people at risk pursuing something he doesn't quite know if he can do.

I went to watch the recording from this past Sunday thinking it was the pilot, little did I know it was the 3rd episode
Looks like I will have to spend some time catching up on demand.

The whole going gay temporarily thing lost me. This show is on thin ice.

Yep. I agree. Got real weird, real fast.

I'm enjoying it quite a bit...but I'll say it goes back and forth pretty quickly. One minute I'm thinking man this show is awesome. And another minute I'm thinking WTF is going on. Hopefully it will continue to be more of the former and not the latter. I'll see it through the first season for sure at least, I hope it pulls through.
