How many of you actually get suckered into watching them with the SO and family? you know where they are going but yet you still watch? Ok let the bashing begin!

My wife has watched them non-stop this year.

I've been forced to watch quite a few of them. The wife and kids like family movie night... I like beer, so we meet in the middle. The alcohol definitely makes the movie more tolerable

I don't watch them, but my wife does while I'm in the room. She's been watching the Christmas ones non-stop lately.
I will say that those damn movies have color grading down to a science. Always a bright, clean, glowing look to them.

Mrs. Midnight starts watching that channel 6 or 8 hours a day from Thanksgiving to Epiphany.

Watched Stalked by My Doctor with the family a few months ago, now it's become somewhat of a running joke as to how cheesy it was

I watched a Christmas Hallmark movie with grandma last week.
Visit her and usually have a baseball or hockey game on, or a western or TCM.
But it's Christmas and she wanted to watch it.
Called the ending in the first 2 minutes, it was obvious the two love interests would hate each other and fight about the house they both wanted until the very end when they'd fall in love and share the house.
I don't get how these things even get made. But I did it for grandma.

The best thing about Hallmark movies is that they've given Lacey Chabert steady work
My favorite one is the one where the girl is engaged to a guy who is too busy with work to give her the attention she deserves and she goes home for some reason only to fall in love with her rough around the edges high school sweetheart who is fighting to keep his family business going. Or the one where the girl is trying to get somewhere, shenanigans ensue and she falls in the love with the quirky guy she meets along the way who couldn't be more different than her.

My wife has been binge-watching Hallmark movies since thanksgiving, and they're currently littering our DVR.
Half of them are essentially the same general plot. Busy businessman/lady comes to a town that has a Christmas-themed attraction (e.g. Christmas village, Christmas cookie business, guy who really thinks he's Santa, etc.). If it's a business, it was undoubtedly left to the protagonist by his/her relative and very special to the town. Busy businessman/lady either represents a company that wants to buy it and develop it or write a story on it, but ends up falling in love with the town. Busy businessman/lady usually already has a boy/girlfriend, but he/she is a superficial jerk who doesn't like Christmas or small towns. In the end, love was right there in front of him/her with the protagonist.
