The Three Amigos

Jefe: We have many beautiful piñatas for your birthday celebration, each one filled with little surprises!
El Guapo: How many piñatas?
Jefe: Many piñatas, many!
El Guapo: Jefe, would you say I have a plethora of piñatas?
Jefe: A what?
El Guapo: A plethora.
Jefe: Oh yes, El Guapo. You have a plethora.
El Guapo: Jefe, what is a plethora?
Jefe: Why, El Guapo?
El Guapo: Well, you just told me that I had a plethora, and I would just like to know if you know what it means to have a plethora. I would not like to think that someone would tell someone else he has a plethora, and then find out that that person has no idea what it means to have a plethora.
Jefe: El Guapo, I know that I, Jefe, do not have your superior intellect and education, but could it be that once again, you are angry at something else, and are looking to take it out on me?

And were Rutger's own words - he rewrote the final lines the night before the shoot.

I'm still awed by it (and Bladerunner is my favorite film.)

"I'm a little bit lonely these days"-Bill Murray in Rushmore. That whole elevator scene is great.

way up there for me too, though I'm in the tiny minority that rejects the "Deckard is a replicant" notion.

I know. The director and writer disagree, but it just spoils my personal interpretation of the theme, the blurred lines between what is real and what is not.

I don't make a definitive decision about whether or not Deckard is a replicant. The point of the movie (which is a rare example of improving over the source material - IMHO) is to question what it means to be human. Rachel didn't know. Maybe Deckard was and didn't know?

Maybe Gaff was. "It's too bad she won't live. But then again, who does?" - another great line.

For me, it's more about his and society's definition of what is real and why replicants are "fake." The humans meet every one of their own qualifications for what is "fake."

Dumb and Dumber is one of the most quotable films ever....

quote:

The first time I set eyes on Mary Swanson, I just got that old fashioned romantic feeling where I'd do anything to bone her.

Just when I thought you couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself!

Harry: I expected the Rocky Mountains to be a little rockier than this.
Lloyd: I was thinking the same thing. That John Denver's full of shite, man.

Terminator: "I'll be back"

Titanic: I'm the king of the world

Friday: "I know you don't smoke weed, I know this, but I'm gonna get you high today, 'cause it's Friday. you ain't got no job... and you ain't got shite to do."

Dazed and confused: "that's what I like about these high school girls, I get older, they the same age"

"say man you got a joint? it be a lot cooler if you did"
