A guest on The Tonight Show, Zsa Zsa Gabor brought along her cat and asked Johnny Carson, “Would you like to pet my pussy?” Carson replied, “I’d love to but you’ll have to remove that damn cat.”
[Carson denied that the incident ever took place, stating, "I think I would recall that," when asked about it by Jane Fonda on the show in 1989.]
