I would put this in the "not very well known" catagory. However Lock Stock has a huge cult following.

Yes
I think it is well known on this board, but a lot of people I talk to don't know about In Bruges

The Man Who Would Be King - Sean Connery, Michael Caine, and Ben Kingsley star in an adaptaion of Kipling's short story of two British ne'erdowell veterans who are banished from colonial India and seek to conquer Afghanistan.
Texasville - Hilarious adaptaion of McMurtry's sequel to The Last Picture Show, set 20 yrs later.

Love this movie, but it got 4 Oscar nominations.

This thread should be stickied...it's gold.
I got to relive an old forgotten movie last night...Over the Edge thanks to another poster reminding me of it (still holds up in portraying that time period for youth angst) and I took another poster's suggestion and watched Pastime...great little movie, what a surprise.
I would advise everyone to watch some of these movies - some real gems.
And keep the suggestions coming.
