If you like that sort of thing or were a fan of the movie, It's pretty good so far. Much better than anything NBC has done yet. The live TV staging and production is outstanding.

Throughly impressed with set design

I'm not interested but it's on because I married a girl who grew up in the 80s watching it. We just started it
I'm going to see how much scotch I can put down tonight in 2 hours.

I'm pretty impressed. If you didn't catch it, that was "Jan Brady" as the auto shop teacher.
Also, Vanessa Hudgens' (Rizzo) dad died yesterday.
Can't wait to see Julianne Hough in that black outfit at the end.
I saw the original movie when it came out in 1978. I was 10. When ONJ appeared in the black outfit was the moment that girls were no longer "icky".

good girl Sandy was always better than trashy Sandy

Set production is actually really good. Peter Pan and Sound of Music were fun but the stage didn't translate great, but they've done some good transitions for live.

I like my women a little on the trashy side.

then you can go for Honey Boo Boo's mom

I said a "little trashy", not Devil's Swamp Landfill.

This may be a dumb question but, if this is live how are they singing without any type of microphone or monitor?
Posted on 1/31/16 at 7:35 pm to LuckySo-n-So
this needs to be moved to the soccer board

Boom mikes and ear pieces.

I just noticed an in ear monitor cod the first time. They're hidden pretty well.

Just changed over because I was intrigued by this thread....holy shite they're just did a 3 minute tracking shot a la Goodfellas ....LIVE! The timing on this scene being live is incredible ...they must have rehearsed for months

Yup, that's what impresses me

Julianne hough is a fricking dime

Also, the waitress at the diner is the original Frenchy from the movie

This thing must've cost a fortune, the production is top notch. Don't know what kind of cameras they're using either but it has a cinematic look to it, not your normal Live tv look to it.

wish Fox would use better cameras when it came to the NFL
