If Bran comes South of the Wall, doesn't that mean the Night King can as well?

Gendry must be strong as frick. Wasn't Robert the only one who could wield it with such power?

And I, too, support the Gendry + Dany idea. The Baratheons are some bad mofos, I don't want to see them disappear.

I support the Gendry/Dany idea too if he doesn't get with Arya.

Although, I really do think Dany will die in S8 and that her and Jon having a fling will only be short term/just a one time deal because of the impending battle.

FWIW I still think Jon will marry Sansa at the end of the series.

Angry John with Theon......

ETA: Does that mean it was Yara that got caught by Euron?

Of course he is. The guy has been rowing that boat around the world for a couple of years. Forearms look like a real life popeye.

Sansa and Tyrion will be reunited. Sansa, having gone through literal hell with all her other suitors, finally sees Tyrion for the man he is and accepts her still husband.

Robyn of the Vale on the throne tagging all that Weterosi arse is the only acceptable conclusion.

Watchers on the Wall has demonstrated to me that I am an incurable consumer of spoilers.

He looks like he's about to say something like "If it wasn't for what you did for Sansa, I'd kill you right here."

So for those of you who are anti Jonsa, who do you expect him to marry then? I stand firm that Dany is a goner and won't make it out of the series alive and that Jon will live. Plus there aren't many women left in this series from the major houses who are close in age with him:

Dorne-Sand Skanks dead
Highgarden-Margaery is dead
Storm lands-No Baratheon women
Lannister-No way in hell Jon gets with Cersei, plus she's a dead woman walking
Arryn-No Arryn women
Fully-No Tully women
Targaryen-I think he'll have a fling with Dany but it won't last/she'll sacrifice herself
Stark-Sansa and Arya are his cousins. Wayyyy more likely for him to marry Sansa since they weren't close growing up/didn't have a sibling relationship like he did with Arya.
Greyjoy-Yara is either a lesbian or bisexual; plus if show Yara is into men I don't think Jon is her type.

Asha/Yara is the only one I can really see, and it'd be an easy way to get the Ironborn back under the throne's control.

Really until this season, it never really crossed my mind that Sansa and Jon could end up together. Aside from being the so-called bastard daughter of Littlefinger, I didn't see much similarities or parallels to them. Didn't seem like their arcs are connected at all. I always thought Sansa was a bit too much like her mother to fall for it.

I was thinking maybe Sansa and Tyrion would end up together, with her arc being more that beautiful people have been the worst thing to happen to her, while physically uglier men are the only ones who have truly showed her kindness. Sansa is judgemental towards anyone who wasn't good looking in some form, with Sansa being even embarrassed to be related to someone who looks and acts like Arya. Think it would be nice for her to come full circle on that. Not to mention with the "Beauty and the Beast" vibe they have going on, which we know Martin has written those types of stories in the past.

But with this argument, isn't Jon and now Dany the only ones standing in LF's way of his ultimate goal to the end of the highborn system? Doesn't seem like there are really any options out there.

I think it's Jon and Dany. Jon is the "Song of Ice and Fire" and I really think the fat man gets off on making people root for an incestuous relationship.

I mean, it's almost Hitchcock-esque in its sneaky perfection.

Or, almost everyone dies. You forgot about Meera, btw.

I'm firmly in Jon and Sansa camp. If you've haven't read much on it, it makes a lot of sense and just seems more natural.

Dany and Jon is just unimaginative Hollywood storytelling and would seem forced, they don't even work as a couple. Not Martin's style. A fling or short-lived situation is more likely.

Same with Sansa and Tyrion, it is beauty and the beast. It would be great for her story arc, but that is still possible for her without them being wed.

I have to say after seeing this Alt Shift X video, I am more up for the Sansa and Jon marriage in the show and even in the books, even when I never saw it as a rational option before watching Season 6: LINK

I really do not see how the Jon and Sansa marriage would make sense. He is still her cousin and he views her as a sister. I dont think either of them are into the incestual relationship, especially since their father/uncle found incest appalling and unnatural. It just screams "non-Stark" to me.

Yeah, mean either. I just think its going to be so different than the books at this point that I really don't care. Only things I think will be similar:

1) Jaime kills Cersei
2) Tyrion/Dany joins sides with Jon (just curious what LF will have to say about that)
3) Final battle with the White Walkers
4) Dany is killed in said final battle

Aside from that, I'm not certain. I'm not even sure if there will be a throne at the end, due to how thorough LF has been in destroying all it stands for, with now Cersei (who has a lesser claim than Jaime in the show) sitting upon it. If there is, then Jon will be it for sure, but I'm not sure if there will be an Iron Throne at the end of it all.
