Well this is the show's way of creating a vacuum for Jorah and Tyrion's arrival, then.
The choices/compromises they've made this season have been...interesting. Having Oberyn's paramour lead the Sand Snakes, Sansa in place of Jeyne Pooles "Faux Arya", Jaime and Bronn to Dorne, and now the death of Ser Barriston...
Interesting is what I'm going with for now...

Buried in all the other craziness, I'm surprised there isn't more discussion on the Bronn/Jamie conversation on the boat.
They basically expoed the entire Jamie-Tyrion hating each other storyline from the books that everyone freaked out about last season into one scene. Instead of the Taysha reason, they seem to make it due to Tywins death
That's if you think Jamie was sincere or not when he said he'd like to lop Tyrions head off

Yeah Jaime really loved his dad. Also I laughed when Bronn shot back "your niece?" At Jaime he can't talk shite because he knows Bronn could cut him down.

The r + L = J can of worms have been opened

You and me both. I seriously am not trying to spoil anything for them. I know that R+L=J has been discussed in the Hodor thread already. But I am curious if the ones that don't know about it caught any of the hints in last night's episode.

Jet12 brought it up last season and then left me with the blame when I told them where she got it from. Thought I was gonna get banned.
But honestly it's not spoilers, it's just a consequence of the complete mishandling of the Roberts Rebellion story by the show for 4 seasons.
And so were clear, I'm Hodor myself, I haven't read the books, I just like to absorb the background info as much as possible and then don't mind hearing the differences from the show and the book in a thread like this. It's really unbelievable to me that all the RR and tower of Joy info has never been put into the show. It makes the show so much easier to follow

And despite all of the clues that are out there (and the fact that most everyone is 99.9% sure it is true), it is still an unproven theory. Talking about R+L=J really isn't spoiling anything since no one really knows if it is true yet.

yea, I'd leave it alone. Let the Hodors, Hodor.

Yeah I edited. I've gone a long time on here without ever getting banned. This is not the reason I get banned the first time

Coco gets pissy. Imagine that.

Yeah, I don't want him going off and the Hodor thread turning into a 9 page argument on what is or what isn't a spoiler. I just went back and deleted the content of my posts.

I ran from the middle ground thread 2 seasons ago because of this very accusation.

Really? I figured R+L=J would be the perfect topic for the middle ground thread.

It's definitely a safe topic now. I'm not sure how it was in Season 2

At this point, there is enough for Hodors (excepting the fact they're Hodors and it would have to be spelled out for them, and spelling it out for them is "spoilerish") - but, obviously, I agree with you.

From what I hear, these threads were battlefields before season three and the clear leveled threads

I've never read the books but read these threads. Sure, some things get spoiled, but, really, if it wasn't for learning some of this background I think the show would be very hard to follow. The clues they drop in conversation are very subtle at times, unless you know what they are talking about. I think these threads enhance the viewing. The show is diverging from the books as well, so while you may read speculation there is no guarantee anymore how something is going to unfold on the TV show. I've read some things about characters who, well, I am not sure that is how the TV show is going to handle that character. It is kind of an unknown for everybody now.
I have a friend who is true Hodor who is catching up on the seasons. We were talking last week and I was having to fill him in on so much information (without spoiling anything) as to why this or that was happening, what were the motivations, background story, etc. He was watching a completely different show and was missing everything. He initially thought Cersai had Joffrey killed so she wouldn't have to marry Ser Loras. After viewing the subsequent episodes he dropped that theory and got it right though wasn't really in tune to the why, other than Joff was really bad and everybody wanted to see him die.
Can't wait for true Hodors to be peeved when/if some of these theories are revealed to be true and they will claim they were made up out of nowhere.

That's the biggest issue with comotose Khal Drogos (my word for people that can't follow the plot ) is that they completely miss plot points and storylines while also refusing to listen to anyone correct them because "SPOILERS"
