GoT: Character you think was terribly miscast.

Is there a character you believe could've been much better played by a different actor/actress? There's only one I just can't stomach. It's a tremendous production and it's irritating when I see this character on the screen. What's worse: it's a major character.

im not gonna sleep until you tell me which one

I'll tell you the the most well-cast: Varys. Tywin is right there with him.
Euron really sucks

You don't have one?

Idris Elba should have been Ned Stark

Ned Stark.
Sean Bean dying in a film is just too unbelievable.

If this thread existed a few years ago JGL would have been recommended for each miscast role

Danaerys. Her acting is atrocious, and it makes me actively root against what should be a sympathetic character.

Maybe last season, you might have had a point. But, this season he's been much better

The over-the-top/comically evil villain is very overdone. Iwan Rheon was able to pull it off for the most part with Ramsay, but I roll my eyes every single time Euron is on the screen.

I agree. Both he and Littlefinger can't be bested. Actually, almost perfect casting and acting except for this bothersome character.

I feel like the Lannisters as a whole are really well cast.
I'm not a big fan of Euron either but it's more the writing than the acting. He's nowhere near as terrifying as he should be.

Vast majority of the show is really well cast. Loras Tyrell and Euron Greyjoy are the only gripes I have.

He was fine tonight, but he was an abomination in the first few this season. He may be a fine actor, the script is more the issue for him

I liked Euron when he was fricking with Jaime but other than that he's just meh. Most of it is the writing though.
