I may be the only person around here left watching this, but I just can't get enough. This may be may favorite show on TV.

Preshow at 7 central, 2 hour premiere at 8.

In!

Are they still in the Klondike? The hype trailer looked like they were all driving through desert, not actual clips, but the promo video, which made no sense at all.

I think Parker and Tony are still in the Klondike, but the Hoffmans are in Colorado where they ended last year up on that mountain where Freddy took them. Todd and Parker have a wager for 100 ounces for who gets the most gold.

Todd's crew will be sad he gave away all the gold they collect this year then.

How the guy continues to get funding from any investors is staggering...

In the promo I saw someone on Parker's crew said "it might be Todd's year this year." Who knows why they said that, but it was presented as if Todd is gonna win. I will have to see that to believe it. He always seems to make the wrong decision going after the life changing million ounce payday that likely doesn't exist.

In!

Todd moved to Colorado after, surprise surprise, another one of his plans failed in Oregon.
Parker and Tony are still up there, but I think Parker may have his own land now.

I wish they would bring back the Dakota boys.

Well yeah, they have to build suspense and make it seem like Todd may pull one out and win to jog any interest since we are all used to the massive failure he’s shown to be

Todd is so dumb, all he cares about is how much gold be mines while Parker cares more about how much gold he takes home.

I don't know why but I still enjoy the show. I guess it's fun to not only see the gold at the end of each show but watch Todd F up. I wonder if Todd is really that dumb or if it's just for the show.

I love Gold Rush. I primarily watch it to see Todd fail. The best was Gold Rush: The Jungle where Todd found nothing but one worthless completely occluded low grade diamond and went broke while almost succumbing to dysentery and cannibalism.

When Jack destroyed the wash plant down in the Jungle, I must have hit the rewind 5 times and laughed harder every time. His face was just priceless.

Todd is so dumb that he thought up the ideal of the gold rush tv show, sold it to a network and has become a multi-millionaire.

Parker is a nobody without Todd "Fat BatMan" Hoffmann

Todd isn't as dumb as many think. His problem is he always wants to find the "new" place instead of grinding it out in the yukon. His crew has had success up there, but no he has to leave that and go to Guyana. After watching the first episode, his son really stood out and seems like a smart kid. Coming up with diverting silt from one pond to another to seal was smart. Todd just needs to stay out of the way.

I think Todd is going to be on the gold this year mainly due to Freddy Dodge. Dude is a great prospector and it sounds like Todd is really listening to him this year.

Todd led a crew of amateurs to Alaska and made them minors. The Dakota's in true gold rush fasion snaked Todd's claim and wound up finding a bunch of gold right where todd was digging.

Todd then went to the Klondike, Parker followed.

Todd ventured to the jungle, guess what, Parker's next off season trek, South America....

Todd ventures, hes a risk taker and trail blazer and when he fails he straps his boots and tries harder.

Parker has great mining experience for his age and his family is well accomplished but he would be an unknown college student right now if Todd Hoffman hadnt led his team to the claim across the creek from Parker's grandpa. Fact.
