Well, sometimes you can misjudge a movie before seeing it. Howvever this is not one of those movies. With all the information we have about it(cast, trailer, objective), they can make predictions about it.

Just like the new transformers movie. We have even seen the trailer yet and we know it will blow.

Then there's the opposite like lord of the rings. Most knew it was going to be a big hit before seeing it.

Then there's some in between where it's hard to tell like Batman vs Superman.

Considering message board chatter can derail a movie's box office earnings before it even gets released, which has been shown possible; it seems like hollywood needs to evolve and start paying attention. Or they can wait until they actually get those pathetic numbers then react. Bc to me, in this scenario, where there's smoke, there has always been fire.
