Here's an original film for the board. Will you go support it?

trailer

#TheCreator is a MASTERFUL piece of original sci-fi. Gareth Edwards is one of our GREAT filmmakers. A soulful, nuanced, Lucas-like interrogation of human beliefs/biases & our insecurity in the face of something greater. Spectacle & heart to the highest order. Pure cinema baby!

#TheCreato is a masterpiece & one of the year's best movies. It hits on so many levels with AI being such a hot topic. Gareth Edwards does a masterful job of keeping the audience engaged every step of the way. Madeleine Yuna Voyles has to be in the conversations for The Oscars

@HunterBVideo

Gareth Edwards doesn't miss with The Creator. The movie takes place alongside Terminator 2, Alien, and Star Wars as absolute smashing examples of how sci-fi can parallel our world. It's easily among the best films of the year. #TheCreatorMovie    #TheCreator

#TheCreator is astonishingly good. Best film of the year and best sci-fi film in ages, in my opinion.

Gareth Edwards flips expectations really impressively for a visceral, touching, and creative story of humanity.

Genuinely loved it. You have to see this one

@DrewTailored

The soulfulness and spirituality of Gareth Edwards’ #TheCreator    make every go-for-broke action set piece, every genuinely dazzling visual effect (by @ILMVFX and others), every gritty chase sequence resonate that much more. Beautifully designed and shot and richly rewarding. Go.

I’m so impressed with what #GarethEdwards pulled off on #thecreator   . He’s made an original sci-fi movie in a time where making original movies on this scale is next to impossible and the film delivers on so many levels. Seek this one out and absolutely see it in a movie theater.

quote:

@FenixDy

Gareth Edwards masterfully creates another sci-fi masterpiece, #TheCreator      , that feels unlike any of his other sci-fi projects. An astounding feat that is only made more impressive because the film will undoubtedly be regarded as one of the best films of the year

quote:

@hollywoodhandle

Gareth Edwards shows that he is BACK and better than ever. #TheCreator    is a jaw-dropping, remarkable cinematic experience. A touching story with incredible visuals and a great cast. Definitely one of the best surprises of the year.

quote:

@dbapz

#TheCreator  is a MESMERIZING and MASSIVE leap into a gorgeous new world. Gareth Edwards returns with a tactile and timely take on A.I. that grounds itself in STUNNING visuals and superb performances by John David Washington and Madeleine Yuna Voyles. I need more!

quote:

@POCculture

#TheCreator  is a brutal, intense & ambitious sci-fi war epic, w/ a heavy emphasis on war.

Its visuals are absolutely gorgeous in trademark Gareth Edwards style.

John David Washington & Madeleine Yuna Voyles are great together. A unique spin on the lone wolf & cub trope.

quote:

While I appreciate how ambitious it is, the over-the-top brutality depicted against Asian looking robots was a lot to take in.

I get what Edwards was trying to convey with the intense visuals but it might be troubling for some to watch.

Love what he did with the scale of Rogue One and to a lesser extent, Godzilla

The Death Star and Star Destroyers had a new level of terror

He made the only Disney Star Wars movie worth watching and brought Godzilla back into pop culture relevancy.

So if they had been another race, say, white, it would have been fine? Weird comment

I am looking forward to this.

His low budget film Monsters was quite good for what it is. He’s definitely underrated.

This guys career is a curiosity. Everything he’s made has been beautiful to watch and good to very good, and he’s directed in two major franchises. Yet in 13 years this is only his fourth film.

And it’s not like he’s been off doing TV or writing/producing.

Hope it's good. The TV commercials make it looks like some forgettable Netflix movie
