Why does Robb Stark's wife have an X over her pic. Isn't she still alive in the books? I seem to remember a Jaime chapter with her in it in Feast.

Yeah, Robb's widow is alive in the books. However, Talisa doesn't exist in the books and died in the show, therefore, red X. Same thing with Ros.

I kind of hate that D&D changed who Robb married on the show. In the books Jayne Westerling was a noblewoman from house Westerling which was a house in the service of House Lannister. Robb has sex with her after not only her tending to him after he takes an takes an arrow, but also hearing that Bran & Rickon were killed. And since she was a noblewoman, he was honor bound to marry her. It was actually a Lannister ploy for Robb to meet her, and have to marry her, thus breaking his vow with the Freys. So while he does fall in love with her, there was way more to it than just that.

Instead be just meets and falls in love with some random noblewoman from Essos, and we miss out on the plot as to what actually caused Robb to break his vow.

Are dead in the books. I don't get why people think otherwise. Letter starting off with "Bastard" explained this.

Well, the Bastard is a huge liar and has every reason to lie about this, so I don't see why it's conclusive at all. Plus Stannis is 100% confirmed to appear in a future chapter.

And finally GRRM has confirmed it: LINK

The black dude from Qarth is alive in the books, but was locked in a vault, presumably to die, in the show.

Also, both Stannis's wife and daughter are for sure alive.
