not doing a Lady Stoneheart in the show

I think it is being intentionally left out so as not to tip off that John will be raised by Melisandre after the mutiny.

So what is everyone's opinion on Stannis' fate? Will he survive this season or no?

Anyone think Tyrion could reunite with Sansa down the road and continue their marriage? It's the longest of long shots but it would be a cool ending twist.

I was surprised Tyrion wasn't asking Dany about the dragons. The books give us the impression he is absolutely fascinated by dragon and their history. Tyrion is probably the Westerosi version of Yoda when it comes to the dragons.

If they kill him off this season, how are they going to handle that his forces still hold Dragonstone & Storm's End?

Nope. Stannis won't leave Winterfell alive.

I'm torn. He takes Theon hostage in the preview of Winter but we've clearly deviated tremendously from the book by now.

Now my guess would be that Stannis dies and Melisandre's purpose is directed to Snow.

It'd be cool, cause she now realizes how nice he is compared to every other fricker she knows.

I don't know how much she'd want to go to KL though

Hardhome ratings are in:

7 million watched it live

This doesn't count people who watched it illegally or on hbogo.

Rated as one of the most watched episodes of the series, so yes.

I think Ramsay's ultimate death is being taken by the Others, but I do think he survives the season. I think Ramsay leaving Winterfell will actually lead to his survival and his strategy is the right one. I think LF left a fully planned mutiny behind just waiting for Stannis, and Roose will be the one to be killed.

I want/hope Ramsay gets taken by the Others but becomes some crazy badass WW somehow.

They're soooo many people that want to kill Roose/Ramsay it'll be awesome to see who gets the deed done

I guess all the people arguing that the Sansa rape scene would kill the shows ratings can shut up.

It's weird that Episode 9's tend to be a slight drop from the previous week.

I think Stannis dies, if not this season then early next season.

BUt I think Shireen rules Dragonstone and/or Storm's End well (with able assistance from Davos) as part of the youth/readers movement. (I don't think Danny will "break the wheel" in any manner that would do replace the great houses with any kind of popular rule but you might see some kinds of enlightened nobility movement).

I agree. She can't "break the wheel" with Tyrion advising her anyway. He knows/understands too much of the Westerosi houses to let that happen. Besides, all of them aren't or won't be her enemy.

Maybe that Selse scene with her on the ground screaming is Stannis getting killed by Ramsay.

Balon is on the IMDB list for E10 if that really means anything
