Well I think that's the case, but aside from Benjen and Blackfish, GoT has a super shitty track record when it comes to uncles and aunts dealing with their nieces and nephews. Lysa tried to murder Sansa, Stannis tried to burn his nephew alive, Tyrion bear Joffrey (deservingly), and Euron is looking to murder his nephew and niece. I wouldn't put it past Varys who pulls kids tongues out and then kill them once they reach the age where they start actually thinking through what they are doing.

Has it been discussed that a portion of the letter Sansa wrote has been deciphered? I don't want to say anything if that would be considered leaked info or anything like that.

He reads and writes, he speaks several tongues, he has studied history and law and poetry. A septa has instructed him in the mysteries of the Faith since he was old enough to understand them. He has lived with fisherfolk, worked with his hands, swum in rivers and mended nets and learned to wash his own clothes at need. He can fish and cook and bind up a wound, he knows what it is like to be hungry, to be hunted, to be afraid. Tommen has been taught that kingship is his right. Aegon knows kingship is his duty, that a king must put his people first, and live and rule for them."-Varys

Arya put on a show through the town market making sure everyone would talk about the dying girl

I agree now that this was a setup by Arya the whole time.
She knew the waif wouldn't buy the "never came out of the water" bit...so she goes bleeding through the market looking desperate (knowing the waif is there in yet another face, or at least watching her) to leave a trail of blood to an alley where needle is hidden and an uninjured Arya can ambush and kill her.
Arya's debt is paid, and she heads home.
It's the only thing that makes sense and explains the carefree attitiude (bait) change of clothes (padding/ blood pouch) and the open display of booking passage. Noone would "play" Arya knowing she has a contract on her head, not even J, nor could she convince anyone to put themselves at risk for a hit by TFM...in Bravos?

Again, no one is looking when she climbs out of the water and is horrified by the sight of her own blood. It's possible that she did have fake blood, but that the waif cut too deep and got her for real (though not too badly) but as many people have stated, she still could never have been certain that the waif would stab her in the gut.
But as I also said, she's jumping and flying through the air in the preview for next week, and I doubt that she'd be able to do so if she was seriously wounded.
Either way, I'm certain that Arya will not die.

Arya can't be SURE no one is looking. She is selling it IMO, this is why she parades down the market street looking at faces, broadcasting she survived the swim to the waif as it was all part of the plan.
And THE PLAN is to kill the waif, not to make her think Arya is dead. She's honey-potting her to put an end to it before she heads home so no looking over her shoulder.
A gut wound is a slow, miserable death and Arya knows how bad the waif hates her, so I offer Arya DID have a reasonable expectation of taking a torso shot. Same reason cops wear vests. Protect what you can.
Put it this way, if she took that stabbing without some sort of protection underneath, and they show her jumping off a building in the preview for the next episode...realistic alternatives to this theory are hard to ID.
