And deep down inside, this is the kind of ending Martin wants. Add in that the Boltons find a way to control the white walkers and they completely overrun Westeros providing Roose and Ramsay with total domination.

I gotta disagree. I've read a lot of Martin's previous work and I don't think he's really after having bad guys win just for the sake of bad guys winning. He likes things messy and likes some realisim in having "good guys" get killed from time to time. But I think he also likes the bad guys to get their comeuppance (ala Joffrey & Viserys). And even sometimes likes to get a little "moral of the story" in, in a Twilight Zone" kind of way.
