I think alot of people do this. Fringe appeals to people with DVRs and they use them (especially since it moved to Fridays). If you have a Neilson box (you wont know if you have one) and dont watch it by 3am the next day, your viewing doesnt count on their ratings. I usually try to at least turn it on and let it play even if I cant watch it. I sometimes start it then turn off the TV, but not the DVR. Also, if you have the time dont fast forwarding through commericals. They can tell if you do and it is not worth as much. The rating this season were borderline and it was a toss up to be renewed until just resently.

Just getting around to watching this weeks episode. WTF?!? This cartoon bullshite is annoying as hell. I like that they're willing to do something different but I hate the execution.
