Season 2 definitely has its hiccups, but it's not ALL bad. Just mostly 
The show is very good as a whole, though. Zach Gilford (Matt Saracen) shows off some real acting chops in season 4.

Watched the entire series on netflix the past 2 months with my dad. Absolutely enjoyed it.

I've only made it through 3 1/2 seasons, its not too bad. Sometimes it gets ridiculously cheesy but other than that its a good show.
