What in the hell did I just watch?....

That was "critically acclaimed?" According to Netflix?

I was let down the first time I watched it but later watched again and enjoyed it, seen it several more times since.

Since the critical and board consensus is that it 's great, why don't you tell us why it wasn't? Was it too hard to follow for you?

We taking about Paxton and McCounghey?

If so...

Frailty is a modern horror/suspense classic.

Movie is like the best Twillight Zone episode ever in a film version and length. It really is filmed great and the story is told great...like Usual Suspects but with horror and Creepshow aspects.

pretty much all this it generally kept me riveted the entire movie and the twist ending was unexpected.

I was laughing throughout the movie. The acting was a joke, and most of the dialogue was a joke. I enjoyed the twist ending, but it took me two sittings to get through the movie.

I feel like you all have to be fricking with me

Frailty is a great movie. The late Powers Boothe and Bill Paxton are both great in their roles. Mcconaughey was pretty good. Well written, suspenseful with a twist ending. What's not great about that?

Frailty is great, and would be even without the twist ending (but the ending makes it awesome obviously). It's very suspenseful and interesting. I remember watching it and never feeling bored.

To each his own, I guess, but I love it.

I have seen it multiple times. Very few people have seen it but everyone I have recommended it to has liked it.

Hell yall are talking about a twist ending, IMO it was a DOUBLE twist ending. After the first big reveal I was blown away and was like "hell yes, that was awesome"...then the last shot of the movie we get another turn and I was shocked again.

Frailty is one of the more underrated movies I can think of. Practically nobody I've ever met has even seen it, and I'd consider it one of my favorite movies. And I'm surprised it's so seldom mentioned consiering it's got some star power in its cast.
