Another MTB win. Great show that I just finished. The movie though was a dissapointment. I wish I could unsee it.

I get it. Lots of serenity fans. I thought it was a sell out and did not have the feel of the show.

How is it a sellout when millions of people were begging for something more? It was amazing the it tied up all the loose ends like it did.

can something be a sellout if it was primarily created because the fans were pretty much demanding it?

It's what the show could've been with a bigger budget, obviously.

It could have been the Star Wars this century.

Serenity helped me cope with the fact that there was no more Firefly to watch.

Maybe you could tell us why you didn't like the movie. I agree it had a different feel to it, but it did a good job of wrapping things up. Even though it was different in some way (hard to put my finger on what), I still enjoyed it.

You're not supposed to watch the movie!!

The 10 year reunion special aired not too long ago on scifi (yes ten years already) and Whedon said he wishes he wouldn't have killed everyone off and done things much differently in the movie.

I haven't seen the series, but I enjoyed the movie. Watched it again for the second time recently and it was still pretty good.

I would like to see the series, but hearing that it is only one season was disappointing.

Gotta watch it for character development and the increasing sexual tension between Mal and Inara (also Kaylee and Simon).
