Don't see the obsession. If it wasn't for quarantine I'd probably just start something else. I'm really not trolling. I just see people calling this show one of the best.
Ruth is the only one that stands out. I hate the wife. I like Michael Bluth.

hmmm well Season 1 to me is one of the better seasons on any streaming service and Season 2 is definitely not as good, so maybe you want to stop.
Season 3 is awesome though. Much better than Season 2 and close to season 1.

I'm with you. I watched the first few episodes when it first aired and thought it was just a fine show nothing special. With the hype around season 3 i decided to give it another try. Season 1, again, is fine. I'm halfway through season 2 and its kinda boring.

The hype is a little overblown, it’s good not great. I’ve never found it bingeable like some of my favorites

I don't see it either. Season 1 was good. Season 2 went a bit off the rails. Currently watching season 3, still entertaining but pretty over the top.
This type of show is one that I'm usually all in on. Most of the shows components (directing, cinematography, score) are all really good. But the writing just isn't there imo. Its like they're trying to cram too much into the last 2 seasons instead of building up the storylines and character development.

Ozark is one of the few shows that I legitimately think anyone could die at any time. That puts me on the edge of my seat.

Not for me. Jonah lost me having to pump the shotgun two times before ever firing a shot. Rednecks don't use a shotgun that way.
Season 3 was good till episode 10. In E10 they had to wrap things up and give us a tease for season 4. It all was a little hokie to me. Especially all the lovey dovey shite with Wendy and Marty. Wendy gonna die in Season 4. She has ordered the death of two too many.

I’ve never deer hunted in the Ozarks, but the deer hunting scene in season 2 was hilarious. A group of 5 just walking around the woods looking for a deer to shoot while gunshots were going off in the background every 10 seconds

It's a really good show. It's just not as good as people on here make it out to be. Some say it's better than Breaking Bad which is ludicrous.

I'm almost done with season 2. It's getting more interesting, but this show so far is good and entertaining, but nowhere close to great.
Maybe I will change my mind after season 3.
