How can you hate Badger? He's one of the coolest characters in the show.

I hated the marie is a clepto side story, it seemed to serve no real purpose

So I just realized that "The Fifth Season" dvd that I bought is only the first half of the show. So I can't finish the series today unless I can find that second half. Per the intrawebz, it was released on November 26, 2013, but I can't find it on fricking Amazon and I called Best Buy and the girl there said the only one they have is the first part.

Yeah, I hate(d) that too. Agreed that it's the juxtaposition, but still...it was pretty random and stupid.
Also, FWIW, I loved the Fly episode. A lot. It did feel sort of like "filler" more than any other episodes, but I liked it though. It showed what lengths WW would go through to see something through...just like the scene I mentioned in the OP about him fixing the wobbly table, I took this episode as showing us how dedicated/crazy/insane/seriously/etc. he took the whole thing, as to not even jeopardize a batch because a housefly was in there (even though it wouldn't have contaminated shite). Was sort of like a glimpse into WW's insane subconscious.

I've been watching on Netflix, so I'm pretty much fricked when I get to a certain point because the last season isn't up yet.

I think the trait that you are decribing is moreso how meticulous and ordered Walt is. Not really "insane." In that particular episode it is showing how stressed that he is because he regresses to one of his base traits despite reason.

I think I figured it out...apparently part two of season five is called "The Final Season." So when I got "The Fifth Season" on DVD, it was not the whole thing (like the previous four were).
So that's pretty fricking shady, but whatever...I just want to be able to watch the whole thing. So I'm headed out right now to buy part two of the last season so I can finish this shite. Hopefully the chick on the phone isn't wrong about them having it..

I thought the last 4 or 5ish episodes of S4 was absolutely riveting and I didn't think the series could possibly top itself. And while I personally enjoyed season 4 SLIGHTLY more than 5 I think, the Ozymandius episode near the end of S5 is probably the best hour of TV I've ever seen.
