$30/year subscription

I have been using it for several months now. 30 films streaming at any given time. They add a new film every day and it expires after 30 days. I have discovered so many rare and unique films I otherwise would never have without the website. Films might be chosen at random or follow a theme (former Palme d'Or winners during Cannes or silent films during San Fran Silent Film Fest, etc.)

Up next on my watchlist: They have the full, uncut, 5-hour version of Red Cliff

Movies currently streaming today. The one at the top left was added this morning...it expires in 30 days. The one at the bottom right expires tonight...it was added 30 days ago. It's a cool system they have in place and always allows for fresh content.

As a film geek I like the idea, and the choices, but most of the yahoos on this board will cry foul cause they don't see Fast and the Furious 12 or Paranormal Activity 7 on that list.

You know this already, though.

I'm not a film geek at all but I don't care for the movies you listed either. For only $30 a year, I'd imagine I'd get my money's worth. At the same time, I would definitely be into slightly more mainstream choices.

I'm going to try this. It seems like a really interesting idea. It's like a movie club in a way. It's not so big of a selection that you get overwhelmed with choices. You just jump into a new experience. Worth a try. It's not like I'm losing much if it turns out that I think the suggestions suck.

Oh man. Red Cliffs 1 and 2. I've been meaning to watch this for a while. Dynasty Warriors/Romance of the Three Kingdoms nostalgia. It's going to be a good night.

Neither have I, but that's the beauty of it. So many films/directors to discover. And these films are all carefully chosen by whoever is running the site. It's not like Netflix where It just dumps a bunch of random, z-grade horror movies into the selection.
