I just read a review that said the same. I'm not sure if I go that far, but if so it is because FTWD had improved some and TWD has regressed a good bit.
The lack of consistency on things bugs me. Sometimes, in both shows, walkers are stopped by a simple fence that they bump up against. Then suddenly, they are flipping over RVs and bursting though obstacles. And, apparently, a simple gunshot or other noise will turn a massive hoard of them in that direction.
The walkers are like the bad guys in the old Kung Fu movies. They attack one at a time. A little teamwork, and they could be feasting like kings.

But I think there's a lot of good reason to believe they are.
And it will be genius if the whisperers show up on walking dead season 8 or 9 and alpha unmasks herself revealing Madison.
Then everyone will rush over to watch fear and see the whisperer origin story. Ratings will skyrocket. Pure genius.

I agree season 3 has been the best so far. I cannot stand Madison. I feel like FWD is from the "bad guys" point of view. Every place they go they take over and everybody gets killed.

It much, much too quickly became a TWD clone where they're going from place to place and batting walkers/bad guys.
I was looking for a series that would spend time focusing on that initial outbreak and how the government handled it, but they zoomed right past it and became TWD too quick for my liking.

I predict on the season finale of walking dead this year or during next season, the whisperers will show up and he big reveal will be when alpha removes mask and it is Madison.
