I still don't have a clue. I was going backpacking around the country starting that night, and it was in a city outside of Beijing, so by the time I realized what the hell was going on, he was gone and on his way back to Beijing. It didn't feel like LSD, I'll tell you that, and I only had like 5 beers before that. My best guess is ketamine, since this dude had openly bragged about dabbling in it a week before, and I've never had it. Also after researching it, it's pretty intense when it first kicks in, but quickly subsides after 2 hours, which is how long this lasted. Absolutely terrifying experience that I was eventually able to wrap my head around, but it was still one of the worst nights of my life.

I've done them quite a few times as well (never dxm though), and I've never had even a feeling close to this. The fact that it was over in 2 hours makes me know it wasn't LSD, since those effects last much longer, so it had to be something that I've never tried.

Sounds like dmt very intense when it starts out. I stress the very intense part
