His best overall movie is probably Tombstone.

But, my favorite performances by him are probably Snake Plissken (Escape from New York) and Jack Burton (Big Trouble in Little China).

He was hilarious in Used Cars and in Sky High as well, though I'd give the nod to The Thing as his best role. Kurt Russell is a criminally under rated actor.
