The Sandlot has always been pretty high up there for me. Princess Bride, Harry Potter movies, Lord of the Rings.

I like comedy, especially Mel Brooks films with "Blazing Saddles" and "Young Frankenstein" being my favorites.

For something more serious, "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence" or "On The Waterfront" for some good drama with great casts.

A few of mine that I don't think have been mentioned yet:

The Martian
Troy
The Hunt for Red October
Nighthawks

And one more: I sat down to chill a bit last night after doing a lot of stuff around the house. Flipped through the stations and you know what was on?

Conan the Barbarian (1982).

Wound up staying up past my bedtime to watch it to the end.

Quite a few that were mentioned.

I'll add:
The Quiet Man
The Man Who Would Be King
Operation Petticoat.

Lol... Yeah me too. Caught the 2nd half of it, then went to bed. Great movie and great soundtrack too.

I had gone to bed earlier, but woke up around 11 pm when my phone rang with a tornado warning alert thru 11:30. I stayed up until 11:20 in my bathroom that has no windows

Ben Hur came on TCM last night 12:30 am Central. I watched it up to when they take hos mom and his sister away, then turned it off because I knew I'd watch it to the end if I saw him rowing that boat.
