Also which one would you have liked to compete on as a kid?

Legends of the hidden temple
Guts
Double dare
Figure it out
Wild and crazy kids

I would have chosen Guts. I always wanted a piece of the Aggro Crag as a kid.

The first three in a perfect tie. Don't make me choose.

Does anyone remember the game show on Nick where they had to play arcade games? My memory is really fuzzy but that's about all I can remember and have never figured out the name of the show. My favorite would have to be double dare, but you can't really go wrong with Guts or LOTHT.

I forgot about that one. Those kids were horrible at some arcade games.

You can't go wrong with Legends of the Hidden temple. I watched the hell out of that show and guts and planned my strategies for both

I would definitely choose Guts. And I would make it Global Guts just because I would want to make sure I made up for all the other shitty Americans competing.

I loved Legends of the Hidden Temple but the tribal dudes that popped out in the temple part at the end would have scared the bejeesus out of me.

Anyone know what the process was to get on these shows? Was there a tryout?

DD is the only answer for people our age. I was friends with a kid that was on for "celebrity week." He was paired with Jeremy Miller, played "Ben" on Growing Pains. I still remember him coming back to school after the taping, said the only question "Ben" knew was something about Pee Wee's Playhouse, and he kept lamenting that it took him "32 seconds to get up the Sundae Slide."

Not a Nickelodeon show, but I always wanted to play the "Grand Prize Game" on the Bozo the Clown Show on WGN. Wasn't that the game where you tossed ping pong balls into the 6 buckets, and there was a $50 bill in the last bucket?
