Other than looking at Kate Mara, that was a completely useless waste of time and resources. How in the world can a major movie production house allow for something like that to happen?

Wasn't that much worse than suicide squad or BvS, IMO.

It's a legit bottom five all-time movie I've ever seen.

I didn't think it was that terrible. It was just freaking boring.

It failed my 20 minute test. I just couldn't do that to myself.

frick Mr. Fantastic, Dr. Doom is one of the top 3 supervillains of all time and he has never been done one bit of justice on the big screen.

Dr. Doom beat the ever living shite out of the Avengers and all we've gotten is the guy from Nip Tuck crying about something and Groot's down syndrome evil cousin.

Didn't the director talk about how the studio changed this movie up significantly?

Yeah, the director wanted to make an angsty body horror. Live and he locked himself in a room on set and did drugs rather than making the movie (also infamously trashing a house). So the studio removed him and Matthew Vaughn ghost directed the rest of it

What's worse is when you consider that this was a reboot of a previously horribly done attempt at Fantastic 4.

You know, while those movies did suck. I always felt that was one of the best casted super hero movies ever outside of Alba.

I dunno, now that they have been tried twice maybe they just aren't good characters for a movie format

Nah...they're just in the wrong hands.

Fantastic Four brings in not just space stories, which are now in play thanks to Guardians and Thor, but like others have said brings in one of the best villains Marvel has to offer in Dr. Doom.

Now...I'm biased, because while I was never a big comic book kid the one comic compilation I DID own was this one, which featured the origin story of FF as the first thing in the book.

Wore that thing out...though for whatever reason has never once read any of the Dr. Strange stuff at the end until just last night...40 years after my grandmother gave me the damn book!

But FF can be a huge asset to the MCU and they'd do it justice. Fox needs to make the same deal as Sony with Spider-Man and do some partnership with Marvel Studios/Disney so that they can get this characters out there and both studios can make actual money off them.

I wanna see this, god dammit!

In this day and age of super hero movies, it was the worst I've seen.

It was a terrible movie.

And I liked both the original and Silver Surfer. Sure they could have been better, but they weren't bad. Hell I like Green Lantern too, but most would think i'm an idiot for liking those movies.

How exactly did they explain away Johnny Storm being black while Susan was white?
