It was definitely the worst season, although I think you could make an argument the one they filmed Median was I think it was 3 maybe, but it was still entertaining. I will report back after the movie!

The popular opinion seems to be the show went to shite after 6, I didn't really think so. The only thing I thought was stupid and forced was Vince marrying that reporter. It really goes against everything his character ever did or stood for.

Good thing i'm a huge fan of the show. 
This was never a movie that was going to garner good reviews from critics though. It's basically a show about rich bros who do drugs and drink all the time and are misogynist as frick.

The last two seasons were pretty awful.
The show has always had its flaws, but it got by, by not taking itself too seriously...then it started taking itself seriously....and the wheels fell off.
It'd be a little better if the drama was even good, but it was just awful.
You can't establish a character a certain way for 6 seasons, then change him completely

Movie was awesome. Definitely follows the same conflict model laid out earlier in this thread. Reminded me more of old Entourage though and not a lot of over the top manufactured drama. If you like the show you'll like the movie.

I was probably the biggest fan of the show you'll ever talk to. Legit have to interest to see this in theaters. It'll be an on demand rental in a month or two though.

If anything Turtle's quest to be his own man was one of the many things that dragged the show down in it's later seasons.
