Miyagi knew - apparently by what he taught - basic yet totally illogical and fake Karate.

So - despite his claims of potentially fighting to the death in Okinowa...and jump out of the way side kick to the belly and waxing on/waxing off...isn't going to hurt anyone or kill anyone...except keep pools from being cleaned.

Cobra Kai guy had a much better chance of doing something.

Miyagi ran from Sato like a bitch. Chong Li wouldn't break a sweat stomping his arse.

Had he stayed and fought, had he won..he would have had time with a woman he loved, his father, probably could have been a success instead of Sato. Etc.

But yeah, I dont think he would have made it past day 1. Or even participated.

You're talking an awful lot of shite. I'd like to see how much shite you could talk after taking a crane kick to the mouf.

Who's he beating?

Chong Li
Jackson
Dux
Monkey Man
Sumo
Paco

All whip Miyagi. Maybe generic blue gi guy or generic yellow gi guy he would have a shot against.

Of course Ric Flair would. nobody is even questioning that. nobody is that stupid.

I would like to see in prime Miyagi on Okinawa. That guy and the beaten down old man we saw probably aren't the same thing. I bet Prime Miyagi could win it.

Point karate and the kumite are two different things.

I could see young Miyagi beating a guy or two maybe.

Then Jackson would give him a big knee to the face and a 'Yeah!'

Miygai would've been laughed out of a kumite.

Now Dutch? He could've made some noise. Easily the most gifted fighter in the Karate Kid series. He was just too cocky to be truly great.

Ageist motherfrickers.

How about this old man? You think this guy could have kicked some arse at the faggy Kumite? I do.

Nah, both Miyagi and even Daniel made short work of Dutch.

He counted on intimidation through his crazy man routine. If nobody bit, that was his arse.
