There was a thread on the OT a few days ago, but it quickly died out.

Anyone reading good nonfiction right now? Also, I'm really interested in Louisiana based stuff right now if anyone has any suggestions.

there are quite a few threads on here on books/audiobooks/etc. You can use the search to find them.

As for Louisiana based stuff, you can try this if it interests you. Frenchy Brouillette, the co-author and subject of the book, was murdered a little over a year ago.

Looks perfect. I don't actually read. I just look at the illustrations and make up a story.

If SFP is lurking I recommend Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs by Chuck Klosterman.

Been reading some Craig Symonds books lately. He does military history primarily from the naval perspective. I've read Operation Neptune about the Normandy landings, and one about Lincoln and dealing with his naval commanders in the Civil War

I'm disqualified due to specific content but I was actually looking for a book thread earlier today. I started the Sackett series by Louis L'Amor last night. The Sackett series crosses about 250ish years over the course of 9 or so books. So far so good but im only about half way through with book 1, Sacketts Land. I'm a fan of westerns so definitely looking forward to Barnabas eventually making the trip to the new world.
