Does anyone know how this works? Does the free streaming start on the 12th or on the regular launch date?

Also, do you need to create a Disney Plus account, or do you use your regular Verizon login?

Thanks in advance

You'll activate it through your My Verizon App. It'll take you a page to set up your Disney acct. The one year timer will start when activated.

I'm curious how this will work if you already paid for a year of disney. Verizon says that the paid subscription will be paused while you get the free year, but I have the following issue:

I signed up for our family for a year at a cheap price with my email.

My wife is the one with a verizon phone (i have google fi), so the free year would be tied to her email.

I'm hoping we'll be able to tie both of those together to get the free year followed by the discounted year

Set mine up with the Verizon deal. So far, the d23 deal doesn’t stack like it’s supposed to. My next bill date is in 3 years when it should be in 4. I’ll wait a few days and see what happens.

Ditto.

ETA: they have time to figure it out.

Where did you find it on the app?

I can’t see it anywhere.

Also signed up but didn’t get the email

"George Koroneos, PR manager for Verizon, tweeted a short video Tuesday to show how customers can receive their free years of Disney Plus with the My Verizon app. Users will need to click on Account, log in, go to Add Ons, select the Entertainment tab, click on the Learn More button for Disney Plus, read through the terms and click on Enroll."

I can't get the disney+ page to load to enroll. I guess it's swamped.
