I've always liked Deb. One of the big story lines of the entire series has been Deb's development and the impact Dexter has had on her life and how that impact has changed her.

Her development from a Flaky vice cop that provided the moral sense of justice to a highly ranked completely corrupted lieutenant because of Dexter is almost as big a story line as Dexter killing killers.
