DBZ plot holes that still bug you

I was having a rewatch of DBZ since my son is home sick, and man there has been some plot holes that have bugged me (where on previous viewings it hasn't as much).
Now i will start by stating that I love this show. It is a top 5 anime for me. But these things bug me when I watch.
Why do villains turn good so easily simply because someone else is stronger? Piccolo kills Goku and kidnaps his son, but rather than trying to turn him evil, he takes care of him and gives his life for Gohan. Vegeta is all about getting the Dragonballs and wishing for immortality. He bones Bulma and instant good guy. Literally half the team for the Universal tournament is reformed bad guys.
Why does Goten and Trunks not have tails? They pretty much ignore the concept of tails after they battle Vegeta.
Why does no one wish the Z fighters to be immortal? Kinda seems important when you consider they only get so many redoes from death. An immortal Goku and Vegeta means the rest of the universe(s) need to leave Earth alone.
What happens if Nappa goes Super Saiyan? I want a bald Super Saiyan.

They're half-breeds, yeah? They don't have one, Gohan does.
Probably just a recessive trait kinda thing.
More likely, the creator probably just wanted to get away from the ape problems.

Was this in DB? I know Piccolo was evil in that but he was always mostly good in DBZ. He killed Goku to take out Radditz, or more accurately Goku sacrificed himself so Piccolo could kill Radditz. Piccolo trained Gohan and bonded with him then died defending him.

He always considered Goku and the rest as rivals. He even let Boppity control him to gain more power to be stronger than Goku. Planet Vegeta was destroyed so he was basically homeless and just adopted Earth as his new home. I think deep down inside he was a proud saiyan and wanted to keep the race alive for as long as possible so sort of sided with Goku and Gohan for that reason.

Not really a plot hole, but the non-human characters get treated like garbage after the Saiyan saga.

Some things I've been wondering, how useless were the Satan City PD that they had to call in Videl to handle all of their problems? How did Napa come back as a gangster?
Does 18 retain her same power level when she gets turned human? She seems a lot weaker, or maybe everyone else is just that much stronger. What's Marin's power level? She's gotta be super strong, just below saiyan level. What if her and Trunks end up having a kid, will it be super saiyan in the womb? How strong is Buu's attack where he turns people into a cookie? Would it work on Beerus?

Kinda defeats the purpose of the show and all it's conflicts don't you think?
1. if all the other universes leave earth alone, where does the show get it's enemies?
2. if all Z fighters (especially Goku and Vegeta) are immortal, then wheres the fun and "edge of your seat" feeling knowing they will destroy anyone/anything that confronts them.

None. Childhood nostalgia has a strangehold on my objective analysis of DBZ that is stronger than almost anything else

Everyone should re-read the OP in the form of the end of episodes narrator that spent half of the time slot to ask what will happen ON THE NEXT EPISODE OF DRAGON....BALL....Z

Wow, just call this the virgin thread.

There are a lot of plot holes in the original release because there is a lot of filler that got added to give Toriyama time to write the actual story and come out with the manga. The filler isn't canon. Also, the movies mostly aren't canon either. Also, Toriyama is very forgetful and messes up some consistency stuff.
These aren't plot holes. They are a pervasive theme of the show.
Akira Toriyama forgot to draw them. Seriously. He has been quoted as saying this is the reason.
The limit on number of times that you can be wished back is not limited after the original dragon. The namek dragon can bring back to life people as many times as they want, and the dragon after Dende becomes guardian of earth doesn't have a limit either. Death is kind of meaningless in dragon ball. It's a flaw of the series but whatever.

I find it odd that Raditz was never reintroduced into the fold.
He is still Goku's biological brother. There is a shortage of Saiyans.
And Raditz has killed the same number of innocent humans as Goku. I think he deserved a second chance more than Piccolo, the androids, Vegeta, and Buu.

I really enjoyed in one of the games where you play as a good Raditz. It was a good little story.
And with regards to immortality, I understand how it would hurt the show. But if you lived in the DBZ universe, that would seem important. I actually hadn't realized the new dragon balls had no limit on repeated wishes.

I can tell you one thing that's bothering me so far with Super. I find it completely hard to believe that Beerus and Whies have never heard of Buu.

She isn't human. She is still an Android.

They kind of brought it up this last episode when the current Supreme Kai brings up how much Beerus sleeps.
But I still have a hard time believing Beerus doesn't get woken up by one of the Kai's after Buu kills half of them. Also, the existence of all the Gods of Destruction are tied to the Supreme Kai of their individual universes. So how did Beerus not die after Boo killed the old Supreme Kai. I realize he was technically tied to the old supreme kai who he bound into the Z sword, but with him locked up I figured the connection would be broken. Just all around weird.
