Kilborn??

He's doing local dog food commercials.

Quite an appropriate career "arc" for a true Douchbag. As his Ex-ESPN colleagues uniformly opine,

Couldn't happen to a more smarmy, self-absorbed prick.

Is it weird to basically now hate all those guys?

(I don't hate Stewart, he seems like a cool dude.)

Oliver is the worst. The fricking worst. If we are going to have UK's host this shite, why do we have to put up with Oliver and Corden...

What was so bad about Craig Ferguson?

Carrel and Kilborn where are you? (crazy that Kilborn was going to be the next Letterman.)

Ferguson actually liked America. Not cool enough for this crowd.

Umm, no. Oliver is actually good at trolling and founded his own Church which was amazing. He's Stewart's true heir. You may disagree with him, but he puts forth a good product.

Samantha Bee though is just a smug count who says everyone who disagrees with her is Satan and they're stupid. Even Wilmore doesn't go that far.

He's just not the worst and puts forth things of value, like going after the FCC last week. Samantha Bee is just a count though.

If Oliver had taken over Daily Show it would've been a seemless transition and I'd still watch it. At this point I wish they'd bring back Kilborn. I'd watch that too.

She's pretty terrible.

I hysterically scream what Rachel Maddow says and it's funny.

Oliver's show is great. If people put away their red or blue glasses long enough, they'd see he tackles issues that affect everyone, not just people with certain political agendas. Take his feature on net neutrality from the most recent episode...it's something that should be of concern to everyone, but because Oliver said it, immediately there's a handful of dolts who are taking the opposite stance because "y'know, libtard duuuude". I'd laugh my arse off watching those idiots get their liberties stripped from them, if I wasn't worried about my own being taken away too....

Nah. I used to watch the Daily Show regularly and disagreed with Stewart on a lot. I watched Oliver's show in the beginning but it got old really really fast. It's the same old shite every time.

I don't like watching political stuff that isn't funny or won't make me think--same goes if I agree or disagree with the political viewpoints.

Yes, some, but all? Colbert has done a complete 180 since his time on the Report, so I hate him now. Carrel is still hilarious as is Helms, Riggle, and Cordory. Samantha Bee is insufferably bad on her new show and Larry Wilburn was too when he had one. Trevor Noah just shows how difficult that job is and how good Stewart was at it. John could in the span of 4 seconds come off as smug, humble, scared, cool, nerdy, concerned, ignorant, amused, apathetic, intelligent, and nihilistic at the same time. Trevor just doesn't have that subtlety and range in his expressions so everything comes out sounding forced and awkward where Stewert was effortless.

Agreed

Disagree. He's smug and liberal, but he is still incredibly funny and also does at least sometimes hit the DNC when they really really really deserve it.

Corden's not terrible either. His show is very light-hearted and his musical skits are fun. Corden's show is a lot like Fallon's except with a british accent.

I loved Craig, but most people just didn't get his weird, slightly creepy, off-beat sense of humor. He was always great in his monologues but god-awful in sketches. His skeleton side man was so much funnier when it's only possible lines were "balls" and "in your pants". It was hilarious how low-budget the whole production was compared to literally every show.
