Which one to get into? Similar concept, different backgrounds. What does the board recommend for getting into a new series?

Gave davinci's demons a chance last night. It was ok. Little weird. Hoping it gets better. Haven't watched the others.

Hannibal is probably the best show I've ever seen on any of the big networks.

I'd go with that.

I would say the acting on Hannibal is better than bates motel. That's not taking anything away from bates motel though. It's a great show.

I enjoy them all, but Hannibal is really great. Definitely my favorite of the three.

Da Vinci's Demons was boring as frick. I will wait til the Borgias comeback to watch a show set in that time period (the Medicis and Sforzas are in both series).

when does the Borgias start? didn't care for Da vinci myself. These shows are quite a let down after Spartacus.

Haven't seen the Da Vinci show yet, but Hannibal is amazing - the acting, pacing, cinematography are all top notch.

Bates Motel is good, too - I would put it just a hair below Hannibal - the acting is even but the visuals in Hannibal are far and away some of the best I have ever seen.

There are only going to be 10 episodes per season of Bates Motel and 13 episodes per season for Hannibal, so no reason you can't watch both.

Going to give davinci a few episodes. Want to see the military application of his designs.

Sounds like Hannibal will get a run... just odd to watch a show on the major networks now.

I prefer Bates Motel over Hannibal. If your preference is dialogue then Hannibal is the choice. If you prefer plot development I would go with Bates Motel.

1a- Hannibal
1b- Bates Motel

You should really give them both a shot. They are excellent. I have not seen Da Vinci's Demons so can't give an opinion on that one.
